CinemaWithoutWall (CWW) is a citizen media company which tells audio-visual stories captured by the people for the people. CWW uses cinematic reporting to communicate grassroot insights to key decision-makers with the mission of enabling better collaboration and cohesion of policies and business decisions with the opinions on the ground. 🎥

A young filmmaker, small but with a big dream to connect the world better through visuals.
What is your idea/startup?
Cinemawithoutwall (CWW) is a multimedia crowd-sourcing hub that provides authentic insights about market research, policy, and even impact assessment towards circular design. Since I’m a film-maker, I see the power of film beyond it’s entertainment value. That’s why at CWW, we are using multimedia: images, videos, sounds. These are not only useful in giving insights, it also moves you emotionally. We also involve a crowd of young people who are curious, and want to make the world a better place.
Can you share your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge so far is explaining what CWW is. The idea is relatively new, and we are trying to be different. Nobody knows what we are doing. Another challenge is, because I’m a film-maker, my expertise is mostly in art and film-making, I don’t have expertise in data analytics, statistics, software engineering; I definitely need help in those areas.
What is a lesson you would like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?
Making a mistake is still better than doing nothing. Don’t stop, don't’ let your fear come in. Keep your mind open, without walls.
