 Our Impact Startups

3180 Applicants
75 Youth
27 Startups
3 Years

Since 2018, we have incubated 27 early-stage startups, all of which had members from at least 3 Southeast Asian countries. Their conviction towards pushing their concepts forward is a clear sign that youthful energy and diversity are key drivers of sustainable development innovation. The startups thus far range from addressing issues in food & agriculture, responsible consumption practices to quality education and mental health. In the first 2 years, participants were encouraged to address issues in any of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

However, from 2020 onwards, YSI SEA will be focusing on developing startups under 3 verticals:
Future of Food & Agriculture, Clean Energy Transitions and Circular Economy.

This allowed us to direct our efforts more meaningfully into impactful solutions which also carry huge market potential for growth and disruption.

We’re excited to have youth on board to scale our collective impact together over the years.

If you are looking to fund innovative solutions or want to hear more about any of our teams, do get in touch with us!
