Our Story
Young Sustainable Impact (YSI) was started in Oslo, Norway by a group of youths passionate about bringing young people around the world together to tackle sustainability problems.
Young Sustainable Impact Southeast Asia (YSI SEA) was born in 2017, after an overwhelming response of 10,053 applicants from 170 countries for the YSI Global programme showed the demand among youth globally.
YSI SEA is a registered social enterprise in Singapore, and we run as an independent organization sharing the same mission, with an increasing focus in the areas of Energy Transitions, Food & Agriculture and Circular Economy.
YSI SEA aims to serve the Southeast Asian community and drive impact in the region by empowering youth through our programmes and courses, while developing close connections to young minds and established organizations across the region.
